The paper was based on Virtual Prototype Technology. The model of virtual prototype of Cam Piston Engine Key Parts was set up by using Solidworks and ADAMS software. In addition, dynamics emulational analysis was done. The paper was mainly about:According to the structure characteristics and the work principle of cam piston engine, the simplified model of the single stalk exportation and double stalk anti-launch physical model were found. The appropriate rule of reciprocate was chose , and the idea of multi-thick cam was brought in . The method of spreading was used to design the figure of cam.The 3D software Solidworks was used to modeling and assembling design. The interface between Solidworks and ADAMS was studied to find out the optimal standard of data processing. Then, the model established in Solidworks was transferred to ADAMS.The virtual prototype of system was set up by infliction of inspirit and restrict of force, moment and movement in ADAMS model and computation of influence between every part. The dynamics equation was found with the base of verified prototype model and emulational work was finished.By comparing the parameter that influent the performance of virtual prototype, improvement of design work was studied. By building the virtual prototype of improved cam, compared the result with unimproved cam.The result of the study provided important reference to the design and improvement of cam piston engine, and effective method and experience for new production.
