The first hard disk was invented in 1956. During the 50 years, with the development of information world ,magnetic storage is more and more popular . And the development of the magnetic storage technology made hard disks have more capacity and accelerate the speed of data transmission.The technology of VLSI has been used in the ICs of hard disk, it has decrease the electric components of hard disk. And embedded system can be used in the hard disk. By high speed mircoprocessors software instead of hardware do lots of works. In embedded system ,by the support of RTOS design or redesign of application program become easier.The job of this thesis is research the ICs of hard disk ,and adapting a real-time kernel of μC/OS-II to the micropressor in it. ,and realized the soft PLL to control the speed of micro HD spindle .which is the part work of self-servo writer.
