Database Technology Based On The Structure Of The C / S System Of Applied Research, In The Virtual Prototype Of Artillery

The investigation of this dissertation focuses on client/server oriented artillery database technology, which is a sub-module of national defense project titled by Study on Artillery Virtual Reality Engineering. The main contents are as below:A review of the literature used in the development of virtual prototyping and database technology is provided. The artillery virtual prototype and its framework are described, and then the importance of database technology to artillery virtual prototype is pointed out.Based on the deep consideration of the functional requirement and feasibility of the artillery database system, the overall scheme of the system is put forward. Also, the design methodology of database accessing, the client interface design and other data management modules are investigated.After detailed discussion on the related data types of artillery engineering for artillery virtual prototyping system, the database of artillery is programmed and built according to write/read methods of different data. Also, the artillery 3D model library is developed for managing 3D models of artillery by using engineering designing software I-DEAS.ADO is taken as the database accessing technology by comparing several ways that use Visual Basic to access database. In addition, the framework of client application program of artillery database is specified and the sub-modules including login module, artillery structure data module, artillery test data module, artillery graphic data module and user management module are designed.Combined with the safeguard system of SQL server 2000 management system and security requirement of artillery database system, the feasible project is presented, which can realize the login security and privilege management for the database system of artillery. It improves the reliability of security of the database system. Also, the integrity of the database is studied.For improving efficiency and security of database system of artillery, the preliminary research on distributed-database system of artillery is conducted, which can provide an idea and reference for future database system of artillery.
