| This article explores how to apply to advanced and practical scheduling approaches to realize balanced production, shorten the cycle of the parts' processing and increase the rate of the equipment's utility based on the research on the workshop scheduling theories and approaches. The current status of scheduling and manufacturing management is analyzed and their disadvantages are pointed out by combining the production reality of the mechanical processing workshop of Jiujiang Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Plant. A rebuilding scheme of workshop is brought forward based on the present equipment lay out, manufacturing types and products features, etc. in terms of design principles of group working unit.According to the characteristics of the plant itself, a scheduling system model is developed and the overall design of the system has been made with group technology as its core on the basis of studying scheduling optimized approaches and building group units. In the design, Petrov-Ham algorithm and heuristic rules are adopted for scheduling. Thegroups of classic parts--eccentric blocks are the objects which have verified thefeasibility of the scheduling algorithm and the practicability of the scheduling system. The scheduling charts are output and the efficiency of the equipment is calculated and displayed. The production management efficiency and standard have been improved effectively by setting up and applying this system. |
