| In order to escape the problem that the ionosphere above the earth reflects the radio wave in the frequency range of 100kHz-30MHz, the moon is chosen to be the site to explore the radio of this frequency range. Therefore it is necessary to design the lunar radio telescope. One of the most important parts of lunar radio telescope is antenna. The fundamental principle of the lunar low-frequency radio telescope and its antennas is introduced in this paper, and the patterns of antennas at different frequencies and heights from ground of lunar are obtained. Then the impacts of metal case size on the input impedances and patterns of antennas are discussed with the moment method. Finally the transmitting and receiving antennas of 100kHz-30MHz are manufactured. The antennas perform well in the tests and the frequency responses are flat. These works above obtain some valuable theoretical conclusions and some fundamentals for designing the lunar radio telescope. |
