With the development of automatic gear-shift technology, intelligent transmission system has been more and more attractive. In this paper fuzzy logic shifting strategy has been developed for the requirement of optimization in the modeling and simulation for steering transmission system of the tracked vehicle. Research results have been achieved in the following aspects:Applied of the modeling method from key component to assemble, based on the theoretical analysis of vehicle transmission, the module of the power train system is constructed by MATLAB/Simulink, which is a pattern modeling software package. The simulation module consists of engine, transmission, driver, vehicle load, and gear-shifting controller.Research on the applying of advanced control theory in the shifting controller. Based on the fuzzy logic control theory, a fuzzy shifting strategy of tracked vehicle, which is optimized by genetic algorithm, has been developed. Simulation results show that the optimized fuzzy shifting strategy can improve the performance of gear-shifting efficiently.Design the transmission controller simulator, which can replace the real electrical transmission control unit, to measure and verify the steering system on the transmission test bench based on the distributed control system (DCS). Simulator test result shows that the control logic is valid and the shifting is feasible. |
