With the development of the high-speed and automation of the new generation train,TCN (Train Communication Network) is the key technology in the control system of high-speed electrical train. This standard integrates the train control, failure monitor and process of passenger service information. Therefore, there is no doubt that the research and the application of the devices conforming to the international standard of TCN will have very promising future. This thesis analyses the train communication network, especially the MVB (Muftifunction Vehicle Bus), and then proposes the design of the MVB controller and gives the implementation of the hardware and software.Based on the comparison of domestic and international train communication network technology, the paper leads to the problem that to be solved. Then in chapter II and III conducted in-depth study of the communication mechanism. Chapter IV and V make a overall desian of MVBC; and also the internal modules of MVBC. Chapter VI is the verification of various modules of FPGA for MVBC. Chapter VII is the sum up of the paper. This design adopts Top-down EDA design flow. The simulation tool is ModelSim, the synthesis tool and programming tool is the Quartus. Now, coding design and simulation have passed through, the FPGA system test of board level is on the way. MVB has the foreground of wide application by the trend of modern development of train and vehicle and the requirement of reliability, safety,time-critical. This design supplies a gap in the domain of TCN in our country, acts a gate for the realization of independent developing TCN, and has great market value and technology value by itself..
