Currently, we haven't got competitive strength in the high-quality products. The products with high performance mainly depend on importing or being provided by foreign-owned enterprises which are too expensive. In the practical application, the end users often suit the products in order to use one function, just like our company. In our company, the display meter of the weighing apparatus have many functions, but most of them are never used in the current business. While, many functions we need are not available or can't be expanded. But the display meters are all expensive, in other words, we have to spend for functions we don't need at all.Along with the increasing maturity of the development of ERP in steel industry, customers are exerting even higher requirement on the function of weighing apparatus products integrating measurement, management and control. Therefore, the development of such products ought to keep up with that of information technology, that of software for general purposes and special purposes, that of network standard. At present, 24A/D conversion series instruments and meters controlled by 32 microprocessors in foreign-funded enterprises represent the latest achievements and technical level in this field. Weighing apparatus products, which feature combination of machine, electricity and instrument, multi-function, high accuracy, fast and dynamic calculation, stability and reliability, represent their own direction of development.By studying the technical conditions of the weighing apparatus manufactures in China, and in reference to the many years' experiences of our company in using weighing apparatus and China's fast development in modern micro-electronics, IT and network technology, we find that it's not impossible to improve the technique and control the production cost in the field of weighing apparatus providing we have found the proper technical method. In combination with the development of micro-electronics, IC design and EDA tools, it's becoming more and more feasible to design the network weighing apparatus intelligence control platform based on the embedded system in terms of technology. And along with the batch production, the production cost will be getting lower and lower. So no matter in the views of the feasibility of technology and the deduction of production cost, it's just right to develop a network weighing apparatus intelligence control platform.The thesis discusses the principle and design methods of the network weighing apparatus intelligent control panel and the realizable function.
