| Along with the rapid development of technology, monitoring technique, as an important technique, has found wide application in electric power system. At present, the utilities adopt variant monitoring system to achieve automation in their production process and management. However, the automation of lighting power in power plant is negnected. This not only increases the cost of power production, but also causes waste of electricity.This paper describes a monitoring system of the lighting usage of power plant. This system uses the power line as the communication carrier, which has the advantages such as no need for communication wiring, low cost and easy construction (can be built when the power grid is constructed), etc.. The system described in this thesis is divided into two parts: host and terminal. The host sends command to the terminal through powerline carrier to control the lighting at the field, and the terminal commits corresponding operation, returns corresponding state information to the host. The power line communication is implemented on the PL3105 chip.The user interface is implemented with the web interfaces based on B/S architecture. The web pages are developed with JSP/JavaBean, Servlet and SQL (Structured Query Language) database developing language. With this system, the operators can monitor the lighting system conditions at different area and perform necessary control anythere and anytime, through Internet with common Internet browser.The thesis mainly describes the design and debugging of hardware circuit in the system, the design of protocol for controlling the power line carrier communication, and the programming of the Web interface. |
