| With the improvement of the embedded systematic hardware performance and development of relevant software engineering, embedded POS is widely used. Many enterprises and organizations have already joined in the field of application and service which are connected with POS. As a POS applications platform, SUN provides J2ME(Java 2 Micro Edition)which provides a robust, flexible environment for applications running on a broad range of embedded devices。Our project group has finished a POS application platform based on J2ME, and this paper presents the research works on the basis of this applications platform.For the enforcement of the national tax standards, the commercial POS without tax function in use now will be eliminated in the near future. The POS manufacturer needs to add tax function in their future POS products. As a result of the complexity, the high reliability requirement and long development cycle, it will cost a lot for the development and maintenance of the tax function. Compare to the way in which every POS manufacturer develops the tax function respectively, developing POS applications on a verified tax application platform will shorten the development cycle and reduce cost greatly. Thus, to provide a tax application platform will meet needs of the market and go far.This thesis gives a detailed analysis of POS tax processes according to tax data and tax function. Then, this dissertation provides a new method to avoid data loss when emergency power off and achieved one kind of smart card driver based on CPLD. Modularized design methods are adopted during the whole development process, to bring on programming efficiency and enhance flexibility. Also,the research theory and experience on how to design a POS product in this subject can be used as reference for other similar systems.The POS tax application platform is proven to be flexible in design, with good performance and less resource occupancy. Based on the products, developers can quickly complete an embedded POS terminal application with better maintainability and extendibility. |
