Now paperless recorder is widely applied in many industrial field-But it also has many challenges, especially its HMI programming needs more excellent programming platform,This subject integrates technologies of embedded device Linux J2ME to apply J2ME to paperless recorder' s HMI programming, this is also a good tempt to apply J2ME to embedded device-This study begins from development status and trend of paperless recorder Firstly introduces characteristics of J2ME platform and its application status advantages and disadvantages detailedly, this builds basis of applying J2ME on HMI designing of paplerless recorder-Secondly, this study analyzes the feasibility of this project, next introduces the blue print of hardware and software design integrating characterstics of paperless recorder and J2ME and summarizes the key technology and nodus of this project-Thirdly, this study introduces plant of Linux system> GUI and Java virtual machine on paperless recorder which prepares for next work detailedlyNext, this subject begins to program application programe, introduces the function and structure of HMI programe and its design and realization method detailedly-Finally, this subject summarizes the shortcoming and trend of applying J2ME to paperless recorder.
