Insulation Online Monitoring System Of Transformer Core Design And Implementation

By analyzing the situation of the on-line monitoring of transformer core, communicating with the technical worker in the field again and again, a new on-line monitoring of transformer core system based on GSM(Global System for Mobile Communication) module is developed. The system can not only work in the normal condition for monitoring the current in the transformer core earthing line, but also work in the fault condition for alarm.The system of the on-line monitoring of transformer core includes the slave equipment working in the spot and the advanced operating software in the master PC. The slave equipment working in the spot uses micro-contronller 80C196KB as CPU, GSM as communication mode, and can perform measurement,display,alarm,control and self-protect. It also can receive orders from the master PC in the real time,send the alarming message and history datas. The equipment also has strong anti-interference. The advanced operating software in the master PC,which is programmed by Visual Basic6.0, uses RS-232 as communication method ,and uses Access 2000 as history and fault databases ,on the other hand, the software can transmit the alarming message to the worker's GSM. Therefore,the software is easy to use and highly practicable.For the future study of on-line monitoring of transformer core,the author put forward some suggestions about decision-making database and the applaying technology of Web in the end of the paper.
