Governance Vehicle Load Transportation Study Of The Spatial Data Warehouse And Construction

In recent years, illegal highway overweight transportation became more and more, along with the rapid development of highway transportation in China. Further more, the overweight transportation is a social problem of complexity instead of a simple economic matter or a pure legal affair, which is affected by lots of factors. Including government and the institution of scientific research, more and more people are interested in studying how to make efficacious decisions to give rise to a long range active mechanism of the weigh enforcement.The paper studies the spatial data warehouse for decision support of the weigh enforcement, the base of the decision support system of the weigh enforcement. And the paper has tried to build the spatial data warehouse with the theme of the planning and the distributing of weigh enforcement site.The paper introduces the theory, the methods and the techniques of Spatial Data Warehouse at first. The author analyzes the shortage of the current methods of the weigh enforcement decision support through analyzing its requirement. The author also dissertate the idiographic predominance of the DSS based on SDW in resolving the overweight transportation problems. Facing the requirement of the weigh enforcement, the author summarizes and analyzes the theme of the decision requirement. Followed by this, the author put the spatial data warehouse with the theme into practice by using ArcSDE and SQL Server2000. The paper gives out the analyzing result by prototype application.The work of the paper can amass much more valuable experience for building a weigh enforcement DSS based on spatial data warehouse. The paper must be more useful for reference.
