The thesis introduces the radiation principle of the electromagnetic wave and its transmission modes, and elaborates the operative modes of the mobile communication system, introduces the national standards and the measuring requirements. A software of automatic measuring system is made in accordance with the national standards and requirements of measurement, it adopts the C.A43 and Agilgent E7402A as the major measuring instruments. The Virtual Instrument technique, Labview language and GPIB control technique have been adopted.The thesis discuss the characteristics of the Virtual Instrument technology in the automatic control field, control model of modern instrument and the technical standards which it related, present the VISA(Virtual Instrument Software Architecture) and structure and principle and characteristic of SCPI(Standard commands for Programmable Instrumentation).In the process of making the software of the automatic control measuring system of communication base and broadcasting and television tower, it introduces the combination of the VISA and SCPI technology as scheme of controlling instrument. It employs Labview as application platform because of its popularity, powerful, simplicity of learning and programming.Based on virtual instrument technology, the thesis employs Labview virtual instrument programming language, modulating programming method and related instruments to devise a automatic measuring system to the radiation of communication base. Furthermore, we use the system to measure the radiation of the communication base and analyze the measuring data.The system have many advantages, such as friendly interface, convenient manipulation, comprehensive functions, etc. the test indicate that the system based on virtual instrument decreases workload, avoids man-made reading error, calculation error and correlative data can't be recoded at the same time, it also increases the precision and efficiency. It has high practical value.
