The thesis analyzes the reason and phenomena of low-frequency oscillation. It establishes a mathematical model of the single generator to infinite system. Based on the model, the impact of the excitation control system to power system stability is analyzed according to the automation control theory. Power system stabilizer (PSS) is used to improve the system stability when the stability cannot satisfy the corresponding requirement. Besides, parameters of the stabilizer with exceed, restoration and amplification three sections are designed. Finally, the function of each section in the low-frequency oscillation is analyzed. |
