The performance of the friction material is one of crucial indexes to appraise the braking set, so the measure and test for the friction material is the important process when producing the braking set. As the way of measuring the performance of the friction material, the testing condition and the manner of the frictional tester influence the experimental precision. Mechanical inertia flywheel is usually used to imitate rotational machinery inertia at present. This method can provide a sufficient and accurate reappearance of the frictional machine. But because there is a inertial mass flywheel group in the tester, which influences the tester with several shortcoming, therefore, the research for the tester has becoming the emphasis by friction material manufactures. By making use of the present resource, electric simulation system of machinery rotational inertia, which is called electric inertia system for short, can overcome the shortcoming of the traditional friction brake tester, providing the good way to measure the performance of the friction material. So the research for the control technology of electric inertia system has prodigious academic and practical meaning.Combined with the practical project, the thesis propose electric inertia technology, that is, by reducing the mechanical inertia part and utilizing the AC motor to compensate the inertia appropriately, it will make sure that the dynamic characteristic in this new system will be consistent with the characteristic of system with big quality inertia flywheel. The thesis emphases on the study of the principle and condition of electric inertia technology, at the same time, according to the analysis of energy consume, the thesis educed the recursive model for the infliction electromagnetic torque of electric motor, which made a stabile foundation for the realization of the inertia simulation control system.Electric inertia system is realized by controlling the torque the motor producing. Based on the theory, the induction drive system is proposed fed by matrix converter, the thesis emphases on space vector modulation of matrix converter and direct field oriented control of induction motor. The modulation method of matrix converter is proposed to realize the direct torque control of induction machine. Because induction is a nonlinear system, it's difficult to build an accurate mathematical model and hard to make good control effect by conventional control strategy. In the thesis, combined control strategy, that is fuzzy control and Bang-Bang control, is adapted and fuzzy controller is designed to choose voltage space vector. The simulation result shows that it can greatly improve the performance of the system.The result of the test on the electric inertia tester has shown the feasibility of electric inertia system by adapting the control system researched above.
