With the increase of the existing railway's speed and the development of the speedway and the high speed railway, the highway condition and the traveling crane condition have becoming increasingly important for the degree of traveling satisfaction and safety. The high speed railway is composed of different feature, different character structure (bridge, tunnel and sub grade) and track which become a smooth line. To make sure the high speed train run safely, evenly and comfortably, it is a key step for line design to eliminate the different settlement between the structure of the bridge and the tunnel...and sub grade. Therefore, it is important for keeping the railway line for passenger traffic evenly, reducing the maintenance cost and increasing the train speed to study the form of the transition section between bridge and sub grade and to analyze the difference of the kinds of the transition sections and their effects. Based on the gathering of the form of the transition sections in the existing railway in home and abroad and the construction technique, in combine with high speed railway's construction, the paper has studied the deformation mechanism of the transition sections in high speed railway, the form of the transition sections and construction techniques, and also studied the features of the transition sections in home and abroad and put forward the form of the transition section for our high speed railway. The main research is listed as follows:(1) Introduce briefly the developing history of the world railway and Chinese railway, illuminate the general situation of our country's railway line for passenger traffic and the importance of the transition section in high speed railway.(2) Analyze the causes existing in the transition section and summarize the available methods in home and aboard to solve out the causes of the transition section.(3) Compare the form of the transition sections in foreign countries and in our nation and summarize the experience of building the transition sections in Qing-Shen railway. (4) Emulational calculation was carried out to simulate the transition sections between road and bridge(and bridge and tunnel) in Wu-Guang high speed railway.(5) Study the building monitoring and running dynamic experiments projects for Wu-Guang high speed railway.
