The embankment reclamation and rolling technique is discussed systematically based on the construction of Yin-nong section in Beibing River Road (LanZhou City) (1) the interpolation function between dry density and water content is established using Hermite interpolation function to solve the maximum dry density and the optimum water content precisely, and the solution method erectes another research approach. (2) based on the in-situ experimental data, the regression equation N = 0.3971ω0.4119h0.7814K10.3954 between compactor passes and loose laying depth, water content, in-situ compactness is fitted. The quantitative indexes to control the embankment reclamation effectively can be given based on the regression equation. (3) the optimal schemes are selected by grey relational analysis which can realize selection and order arrangement for the compaction schemes obtained by the regression equation between compactor passes and loose laying depth, water content, in-situ compactness. (4) the mechanics analysis of rolling and over-rolling are discussed using theory of elasticity and conclusions are obtained:①the stress value on the surface layer touching with the roller wheel is more than 0.19 MPa generally. and the value of the stress is increased with the compacted thickness increased.②the middle-layer and under-layer will create cracks and reflection cracks in over-rolling while the compacted thickness is more than 20 cm.③the under-layer, the middle-layer and under-layer will create cracks and reflection cracks in static-rolling while the compacted thickness is more than 25 cm. (5) the indexes of the embankment reclamation quality evaluated by foundation coefficient K30 are given: K30≥150MPa/m in 93 zone,K30≥220MPa/m in 95 zone.
