In this dissertation, taking the 5.8mm all-purpose machine guns which are in servicerecently as researching object, and Multi Rigid Body Dynamics as theory basis, thedynamic behavior of the machine guns was analyzed on the platform of Pro/E andADAMS, which can be used as a theory basis to evaluate the performance and improve thefuture designing.According to the characteristic of the configuration and movement connection ofdifferent pasts, the three-dimensional models of the machine guns was built in the CADsoftware Pro/E, and successfully imported to ADAMS software through the specialinterface Mech/Pro. By the suitable definition of applying forces, constraints and contact, the virtual prototype models was established by the toolbox of ADAMS. The simulationand calculation of the multi-precepts virtual prototype models was finished, and got aseries of machine gun's movement parameters. On the basis of it, the influence caused bythe mass of moving part, the spring stiffness and the gas-room impulse were researched. The technic approach of optimize the machine gun's dynamic behavior was also discussed, which can improve the placidity and reliability of the gun's firing. With the developinglanguage of ADAMS software, the interface of dynamic analysis was designed, which canbe used to modify the important parameters of moving parts.
