The Multimedia network teaching system is a brandnew teaching system. It changed the traditional teaching method . It can improve the teachers' efficiency and evoke students' enthusiasm. Nowadays, computer-assisted instruction (CAI) and web-based instruction (WBI) are extensively getting into the area of the teaching of Electric Circuits .Offering the opportunity for the reform and the development of the teaching method of each subject, as well as the challenge. As the teacher of Electric Circuits must have the informational accomplishment and the ability to apply the informational means to teach in a creative way. Students should master the learning method and possess the ability to self-obtain and self-renew the knowledge.This study comprises two parts. The first part of the paper analyses the character of teaching in college,the possible of using web-based instruction and the character of web-based course ,then designs a system of teaching circuit course.The supporting theories, the principles of instructional design, the system function characteristic, the application of technology for the system are discussed in the paper. The second part is website's construction. It introduces the tools and the technologies to construct .It also describes some kernel technologies about user loading,teaching case transmitting and website survey. The main contribution of this thesis establishs a study field where students can inquire independently and cooperate with each other on the internet. And it also can unfold a new teaching method to assist the teachers of circuit.
