With the development of mobile Internet,Internet of Things and artificial intelligence technology,intelligent products are emerging one after another.How to integrate intelligent technology with other industry technologies,and cultivate design thinking,computational thinking,innovative thinking and intelligent literacy of secondary vocational students become an important research topic in current vocational and technical education.Through the survey,we found that many secondary vocational schools have established maker spaces,but there is a lack of courses for students to attend maker activities.Moreover,secondary vocational school teachers have difficulty in developing maker courses.In view of this,this study firstly uses literature research method to analyze the research of maker course at home and abroad,and proposes a maker course development framework including maker course objective,maker course content,arduino maker space,maker learning activity and maker course evaluation.Secondly,based on experience learning,design thinking and computational thinking theory,this study builds a dual-wheel drive maker learning model of “experience learning and project design”.Thirdly,based on the Arduino open-source platform,this study made a smart home model which used Arduino Mega 2560 as the main board,used many intelligent sensors to collect environment data,used bluetooth to communicate with an Android app which is developed by App Inventor,established communication with users by GSM.Then 7 units which had a gradient of difficulty were disigned based on this tangible model.Finally,under the guidance of maker curriculum development framework and learning model,a "smart home design" project course was developed,in which included 7 learning scenarios and an integrated practice innovation unit.The dual-wheel drive maker-learning model of "experience learning,project design" proposed in this study can guide teaching implementation while Arduino-based maker course design framework can guide the development of the maker curriculum in secondary vocational schools.The "Smart Home Design" developed in this study can provide experience for the development of maker curriculum and interdisciplinary courses in secondary vocational schools.
