Whether the maintenance of road can be smoothly carried on is the essential point that makes sure the road development can be sustainable. In the same time, the Internet technology has been largely developed and the demanding of geographic information system (GIS) is getting more and more eagerly what makes the WebGIS technology in management of road maintenance become one of the research hot spots of traffic control information system.By releasing road information on Internet, not only can facilitate the user to search the roads information, implements road information sharing, but also can provide the convenience for the road attendant' s outside working which can modify the roads current situation data and makes the complicated work simple. Finally digitalize the working of road maintenance.With the help of second phased project of the DeYang road management information system, road maintenance management information system study has put emphasis on processing spatial data, building data base for spatial data, releasing information about road and its facility on-line as well as gathering and safeguarding road state information.This article first introduced the WebGIS characteristic, the structural model, the implementation and related technology of WebGIS; afterwards it introduced several kinds of domestic and foreign WebGIS platform and choused ArcIMS to be the WebGIS platform for the research; then introduced the ArcGIS platform' s system structure and its working principle. Compares with ArcIMS' s three kinds of couplings and two kinds of the viewers which go with the couplings, the system finally used ArcIMS and HTMLViewer and ArcMap Server the expanding class of ArcIMS, integrated ASP. NET technology to realize a information system used for releasing road information and in time returning road patrolling information based on WebGIS. |
