The fire barrel tube is an importantpart of each kind-of artillery, such as riflingartillery, ks function is to give a muzzle velocity of the projectile and target shootingdirection to enable artillery completing combat missions. Therefore, accurate and rapidmeasurement of the Cannon Barrel size parameters has a crucial role in improving theaccuracy of forecasts and forecasting the accurate artillery remaining life.Based on gun barrel inside parameter detection issues, this article introduced a newtype of automated high-precision parameter detection system of artillery body chamber.This system has a high degree of automation, Detection of high-precision, high efficiency,convenient, reliable detection and many other advantages, and is able to achieve accurateand rapid measurement. The system uses Inductive displacement sensors and Laser ranging:sensors, in a specially designed transmission system——planetary wheel transmissionsystem driven, to carry on the automated measurement of the Gun Barrel inside diameter.For the entire test system specific requirements, we designed a special test software, underthe support of the software, we can measure accurately the Barrel diameter size changes ofany arbitrary cross-section, and can achieve rapid real-time data processing and displayoutput. After the pilot test, the diameter detection system has reached the targets of thesystem design requirements, and can meet the actual needs.At last, this paper analyzed the interference and causes of the error, and made somecorresponding measures to reduce error.
