In this paper, testing system for thrust and pressure of Rocket Engine is founded. A fire-new method for automatic sensor parameter calibration is introduced. In the course of thrust and pressure measuring of Rocket Engine, hydraulic pressure is used to drive the whole system as a standard power. Sensor parameter can not be measured expediently and accurately because the hydraulic pressure system is non-absolutely sealed and the pressure in the hydraulic pressure system is always changing. Furthermore, in the previous experiments of sensor parameter calibration we need to artificially load or unload weight, it will not be laborsaving and manipulative. In order to solve above-mentioned problems and precisely calibrate the pressure, an automatic calibrating system is designed. In the system, hydraulic pressure is used as a drive component to drive the system, weight is used as a standard power to make control stable. The settlement of this system is as follows, the LabWindows/CVI software is used to design a virtual instrument, which then generates a control signal to drive a step motor which joins a hydraulic pressure system, consequently a thrust or pressure is born. At the same time, the hydraulic pressure device passes this pressure to the automatic weight elevator which will balance the pressure by increasing or decreasing weight automatically. The pressure will be passed to computer by sensor and data acquisition device, then virtual instrument can deal with acquired data, accomplish the calibration of sensor, output or print the results. The architectures of hardware and software of the system are described in detail. The system is implemented and its function is verified by the testing of engines. In the system, the thrust and pressure are more stable and sensor parameter can be measured expediently and accurately. The system is manipulative, practical, designed simply and its performance is well and reliable, which has a wider foreground in testing system.
