In this paper, the mechanism of crashing materiel about impacting crasher wasdiscussed and the contact-impact finite element arithmetic was also adopted. The finiteelement model of the impacting system was established based on the structure of impactingcrasher and the process of crashing materiel about impacting crasher was simulated andcalculated. Through the emulation and calculation, the results about the contacting force,the stress and the strain on different parts in the whole process of crashing materiel wasobtained. At the same time, the influential factors of the crashing effect, the stress and thestrain were researched, otherwise, the shape of counter-board was optimized through theanalysis and emulation.The rotor, the flat hammer, the materiel and the counter-board were selected as theprimary objects when the finite element model of the impacting system was established inthe paper. The materiel model and the crashing process in the paper were simplified ascrashing single global materiel because of the complexity in the process of actualproduction. A finite element dynamics model of the impacting system was established afterneglecting some unimportant structures. The impact problem was solved by the calculationmethod acquired by ANSYS/LS-DYNA.Based on the finite element dynamics model of the impacting system, the contactingforce, the stress and the strain on the structure were calculated, contemporary, someinfluential factors were considered such as the rotate speed, the moment of inertia, theshape of counter-board. In the paper, the model of rotor was also calculated because of thevibration in actual production was intensity, the calculation was useful for designing rotor'sstructure and avoiding the destroy aroused by the vibration. Otherwise, the track ofmateriel was considered and the optimizable shape of counter-board was got based on thetrack of materiel. The work of this paper was useful for the design of the structure in thecrashing cavity.
