This paper carried through special ultrasonic test study for defects forming cause andframework' characteristic of cone cabin made by carbon fiber composite material. Firstly,many kinds of destructive test methods are compared, and C-scan ultrasonic test methodand A-scan ultrasonic test method are adopt to examine the defects of the part ofnonmetal composite material. It can ensure the requirement of quantitative test for conecabin and other parts made by carbon fiber composite material after test project, facturefor test blocks and demarcating sensitivity method are researched carefully. Finally, someperfect suggestions are put forward for the future work. The following topics arepresented:1. Ultrasonic test method is selected after many kinds of test methods are researched.2. It ensures the requirement of sensitivity for test system through researching ultrasonictest blocks.3. It ensures the requirement of testing defects for conic surface of contractible partthrough researching C-scan ultrasonic test method.4. It ensures the requirement of testing defects for end and cone surface of contractiblepart through researching A-scan ultrasonic test method including demodulation modeand RF mode.5. For special requirement to test small opening rate, some assistant experiments are doneto find corresponding relation about small opening rate and mechanical tensileintensity.
