A Research On Technical Characters Of Parts And Purchasing Modes In Auto Industry

Automobile is a kind of complicated structural product which is made of thousands of parts. This technical character determines that its production process needs other corporations'involvement. At the same time, with the development of global economy, consumers'demands become more and more individuation and diversification, which makes auto manufacturers more urgent to make use of outside resources to satisfy consumers'demands. In order to focus on the research and manufacture of core parts and the whole auto, based on core competence theory, many auto manufacturers outsource their non-core parts, which is a popular trend. A key problem is the purchasing modes between auto manufacturers and their suppliers. In this situation, this paper researched the relationship between technical characters of parts and purchasing modes in automobile industry, with the hope to guide the practical purchasing in automobile industry.First, this paper researched the technology cooperation modes between auto manufacturers and suppliers from the aspect of technical characters of auto parts. After sorting the auto parts with the standards of special degree and technology level, this paper analyzed the matched technology cooperation mode for each kind of parts.Second, this paper analyzed the auto manufacturers'and the supplier'responsibility, cost and risk in the supply chain.Third, this paper researched the different ability demands for suppliers under each kind of purchasing mode.At last, this paper researched the cooperation mechanism between auto manufacturers and suppliers. The paper firstly described the put-forward process of supply chain management theory, then analyzed the important meaning of cooperation, at last through mathematics model and specific example, demonstrated the conclusion that cooperation can upgrade the performance of whole supply chain and achieve win-win goal.
