Combining high-speed Maglev traffic system, paper carried on the outline and the comparison to various types Maglev train at present, through the widespread collection correlation data, studied the working principle and main function units of traction power supply system of EMS Maglev train which Shanghai introduced, carried on the analysis to the working principle of various function units. In the foundation, preliminary designed the traction power supply system of Shangyu, Zhejiang Wolong Electric Group Maglev experiment line. So far, the Maglev train runs on some tracks successfully, which indicates that the design, installation and debug of the traction power supply system is successful.Paper studied the voltage regulator of transformer - one of the key equipments of domestic production, proposed a new voltage regulator with assist current commutating unit, and described the working principle of the new device, simulated the working principle and process of the new device with PSpice software. Simulation was carried out with resistance load, inductance load and the resistance inductance combination load separately, and the results of the simulation were given. Simulation results show that the new voltage regulator is suitable, with continuous, rapid, high reliability advantages, for the voltage regulation of Meglev traction power supply system.Breaker is another key equipment of domestic production in traction power supply system. Paper described the historical development and present situation of the drive mechanism of vacuum breaker, analyzed the structure, principle and characteristics of the Permanent Magnet drive mechanism, and studied the relationship of drive mechanism characteristics and breaker performance. Combining the demand of traction power supply system, paper proposed three new structures of bistability permanent magnetism drive mechanism. Paper carried on the ANSYS simulation analysis to these three new structures, analyzed the electromagnetic field and strength characteristics of these three new structures. Simulation results show that the design of these three structures reasonable and correct, meets the design objectives.
