In this paper, a new kind of pole high voltage automotive capacitor compensation system was designed according to the characteristics of feeder line with many branches such as the 6kV feeder line in BinNan oil Production Plant.. In the system, we separate the measure position and compensation position and realize the supervision of reactive load in local area. Thus the reactive compensator can be located in the center of the distributed load in the area and make the best user of the compensator's capacity. The distance flowed by the reactive current is efficiently reduced and the active loss of power net goes down. Two-stage control model is adopted in the optimized control technique of the system. It not only solves the problem of optimized control of the reactive current exchanging among branches, in other words, realizes the auto-tracking to the reactance factor, but also greatly improved the reliability of the system. In this paper, we designed the basic structure of automation system to the feeder line in BinNan oil Production Plant, the automation Master Station and Bench of the FTU. We used GPRS digital communications technology to achieve data transmission and the device can measure reactive parameters in distribution power net that are generally considered to be difficultly measured .The high voltage automotive Reactive Power Compensation was more Reasonable. At last we analyzed the results of high voltage automotive Reactive Power Compensation and solved the problem.
