As a pumping device of emulsion explosive, PCP has attracted more and more attention by less investment, being easy to operate, energy-saving effect and unique advantages. So, the manufacturers of emulsion explosives in all countries take it seriously. And it has become the main approach of pumping emulsion matrix. However, with the growing popularity of emulsion explosives, various types of accidents also increased, and many of them were caused by pumping emulsion explosives matrix. Therefore, this article researches PCP from the theory. First of all, this paper starts from the principle of single screw pump, and analyzes in detail the kinematics and dynamics and seal pressure distribution characters of PCP. Next to it, based on the geometric and physical characteristics of PCP's stator, mechanical and thermal models are made. And the article researches the out come of stress, strain and displacement within the outline of nodes, then we got high-efficiency model of PCP from the outcome of space model and plane model. Finally, numerical simulation of the coupled thermo-mechanical model is carried out in finite element method, the deformation principle of stator molded line in practical conditions is got.Hotspot positions that accidents happen easily are found. Based on the basic investigation of PCP, some references are provided to manufactory and theoretical analysis are brought forward towards accidents. Theoretical foundation are also provided to safety managers and safety managements.
