Wireless electric power technology gets more attention with the development of society. Wireless electric power transmission consists of microwave sources, transmitting and receiving, antennas, microwave rectifier, etc, among which the most important device is the cyclotron-wave rectifier. Cyclotron-wave rectifier is the core device which transfers electric power from the space to the ground in the Wireless electric power engineering. cyclotron-wave rectifier is a new vacuum device ,which transform microwave into direct current by the method of electron cyclotron acceleration . it can output high power ,high voltage and efficiency can reach to 80%. A detailed analysis is made for the conversion region and collector in this paper. A numerical calculation and software simulation are made for the study of the conversion region. Three-dimensional simulation is made for the study of the collector.First, a theoretic analysis is made for the conversion region . An analysis is made for the motion of the electron in the magnetic static field by the motion equation. The method of calculating space magnetic field of the conversion region is improved, which make the calculation of the static magnetic field more exact. The motion equation of the electron which is solved by the numerical method ,is given in the paper . The result of the numerical calculation is the same as the result of the simulation . A numerical study is made for the physical problem of the conversion region ,and give the typical result. The software simulation is made for the conversion region. Second, an analysis is made for the collector . In the analysis the EGUN program is used to calculate the electron trajectories in the electrostatic and magneticstatic field .and optimize the magneticstatic field and voltages. A three-dimensional simulation, which is more accurate, is made. Finally, a basic study is made for the magneticstatic field. The magnetic field which is required by the CWC is designed.Finally, a summary of the work in the paper is made .and deficiency of the paper is also pointed out.
