Several contents are studied and implemented in the dissertation:(1) According to the production process and control requirements of the project, weighing ingredients system is constructed. There are two parts in the system which are PLC control and WinCC Monitoring. PLC is used to control scene equipment and collect the data from weighing instrument to deal with; WinCC is used to design Surveillance and control interface to monitor the scene equipment.(2) As the mainly study object, the weight data is analyzed according to the scene and control signal detection signal. The actual weight of the pig-iron,dormant -scrap and foundry-return is picked up from the weight data. Error weight and other relevant parameters are calculated. Error compensation is actualized to reduce the total weighing error. All of weighing parameters are displayed in the interface of WinCC, so that the workers easy to operate.(3) It is to meet the archiving data reliability requirements double redundant system's reliability and availability are analyzed and double redundant is designed by the redundancy function of WinCC. Archiving data's security is guaranteed by double redundant and the data of Archiving will not lose because of one computer's malfunction(4) Data Management System is deigned to manage the Process Data. Data Storage is realized by the user archive of WinCC. Through visiting to the WinCC database by ADO, the functions of the data query and statistics are realized. Report forms and print are also realized by VBS. The results of query are displayed in the interface of WinCC. There are two methods for data maintenance which are regular maintenance and maintenance of fixed capacity.The system has been used about six months at the scene.
