Unmanned terrestrial weapon platform as one important direction of the unmanned weapons, it will play an increasingly important role in the future war. Therefore, it is very important to design command and control system of terrestrial weapon platform. This paper mainly does some research on the command and control system of terrestrial weapon platform. Based on internet communication, real-time video frequency transmission technology, the electronic map technology, target detection and tracking technology, auxiliary support technology, the software is developed with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, using the client/server pattern, a command and control system software of terrestrial weapon platform has been designed, the primary work of this paper includes:(1) The need, structure and the major function of command and control system of terrestrial weapon platform has been analyzed, and the general design of the system has been completed, and the system software has been realized;(2) Remote commanding and controlling robot (controlling of moving, video, weapon and so on), making the command system software with the electronic map's basic function using electronic map technology based on MapInfo;(3) Auxiliary Support System has been designed, including Auxiliary Support System's functional design, overall structural design, decision-making repository and results of the design. The target tracking based on the improvement of instantaneous difference algorithm and Centroid tracking algorithm has been achieved, and the Auxiliary Support System's some features of the software has been given.The test result indicated that the interface is amity and easily operated, run stable and reached the design requirement.
