A Special Vehicle Cab Structure Analysis

Using FEM, this paper completed structure analysis of a special vehicle's cab.It was pimary discussed that how to establish the finite element model of cab and simplify.The stiffness and strength of vehicle cab's structure were calculated under torsional and bending conditions.This paper studied on the cab stress in torsional,bending and special condition, proceed mode analysis, acquired the proper frequency and completed sensitivity analysis of structure modification for primary inferior mode of cab,found out some weak components and puted forward suggestions to improve these components.These studies provide the theoretical foundation for the improvement of cab structure. Through the experimentation of static stifness and strength, the comparison between simulation and experimentation results verified legitimacy of the model. In the end,this paper introduced the method for the improvement of vehicle body structure. Aiming at the result of this paper, it puted forward a improvement project.Then, the stiffness and strength of improved cab's structure were calculated and this improvement project was evaluated. It had certain reference function to improvement.of the cab structure.
