Fuze arming shall contain at least two independent safety environment stimulus, according to design safety criteria of fuze. In order to solve the problems, which the fuze second environment stimulus is not obvious in no-spin fuze, so the geomagnetism is researched in the paper. The researching purpose of paper is that muzzle exit signal based on geomagnetic is applied in safety and arming device, the prototype is developed in muzzle exit sensation based on geomagnetic detection. The prototype is composed of magnetoresistive sensor HMC1022 and 32-bit embedded microcontroller LPC2131. The algorithm of detection in microcontroller detects and output controlled signals, when the geomagnetism circumstance of cannon appears. The paper is based on theory of geomagnetism. The several kind of magnetic sensors are compared and researched in principle and parameters. According to safety and arming device, the magnetoresistive sensor is selected firstly in prototype. The experimental system of detecting geomagnetism based on 32-bit embedded microcontroller is prototype. The hardware and software about the system of detection are designed, the algorithm of detection are loaded, when the handware circuits are debugged successfully. Finally, geomagnetism circumstance is detected by the prototype. The experiment of simulating blast-off and the experiment of simulating blast-off in different directions are fulfilled on the prototype. The design of prototype is successful, through analysis of the experimental datas and results. Regarding the geomagnetism circumstance as the fuze second environment stimulus is feasible on the no-spin fuze.
