Study On Synchronized Crushed Stone Sealing Course Technology Application

The synchronized crushed stone sealing course technology was introduced into China from France in 2002. It is a new technology for road construction and road maintenance. It was tested and used in Liaoning, Hunan, Guangxi and other provinces in our country in 2004 and 2005. The data of this article are mainly from Nanning , Guiling and Wuzhou in Guangxi where the technology were used .Through the analysis of the synchronized crushed stone sealing course technology , this article points out the synchronized crushed stone sealing course is superior in the waterproof performance, the draining water function, structure mechanics,the crack resistance ,in the project cost and the service life and the construction progress .After a number of tests on the materials , suitable materials are found. Plant diseases are also be tested , analyzed and studied here. The synchronized crushed stone sealing course is a very good and new stress-absorbing layer. It can be used both in the up-sealing layer and the seal subcoat.The problems of this technology are found .A series of factors such as material choosing and equipments should be considered if the synchronized crushed stone sealing course technology is widely used in our country. Through tests and studies , the synchronized crushed stone sealing course is proved to be an excellent stress-absorbing layer to be used in asphalt concrete overlay.
