Yunnan provincial trunk highway maintenance faces complex objective factors, such as mountainous terrain, heavy traffic and abundant rainfall. As the development of synchronized crushed stone seal technology, Yunnan promoted it comprehensively, which prevented the initial road surface disease, improved the highway quality and effectively reduced the financial pressure in the maintenance.This study apposed the quality control standard based on the requirements in the maintenance of Yunnan provincialtrunk highway, careful analysis ofthe technical requirements of raw materials and the related test and application analysis. We also apposed a reasonable control method to maintain the construction by using the application results of our country and other countries, analyzing the formation reason of the disease and the factors affecting the quality.Based on the situation of the surface seal of Yunnan provincial trunk highway, we first apposed the requirements for the diameter of the stones suitable for Yunnan, asphalt choosing and optimal dosage, optimal crushed stones spreading through the test and analysis of the stones, asphalt and grading. Then the synchronized crushed stone sealfor road surface disease was proposed by analyzing the disease in maintenance. Furthermore, the parameter of bonding strength was raised based on the maintenance disease for the sensitive analysis of the asphalt dosage, asphalt types and maintenance time. The sliding resistance, water seepage ability and the approving effect of the synchronized crushed stone seal was studied. Lastly, this study proposed the quality testing method and standard by analyzing the key technologies like asphalt dosage, nozzle angle and construction length. Meanwhile, the economic cost-benefit analysis was conducted for Yunnan's implementation plan and the calculation example was also included.
