Arm-based Smart Home Control System

In recent years,with the development of electronic technology,consumer electronics combines with computer,communication technology.It is collectively known as the 3C products, and make home electronics and electrical Products moving towards the direction of Intelligent home.However,the majority of its Intelligent home system is usually controled by 8 or 16-bit single-chip,and its control functions are relatively simple.It is difficult to achieve networking and wireless transmission.The future expansion of the Intelligent home system is also more limited.with current limitations of Intelligent home system,this paper Proposes Intelligent home system based on ARM embedded processors,as well as Ethernet and GPRS network communication technology.It not only can real-time monitor the safety conditions of the community of residential,but also realize the remote control of home appliances and the "three-sheet"(water meters,electricity meters,gas meter) remote copy.At the same time, the system also provides a standard serial communication interface,and it can provide a broad space for the future expansion of the system.The article first introduced the ARM processor and the development of uClinux embedded operating system,and then discussed Principle of the GPRS network communication technology. finally the Intelligent home control system hardware and software are designed.The hardware control modules of intelligent home system mainly include ARM selection,alarm I/O circuit design,Ethernet interface circuit design,image processing module circuit and the "Three Tables" component of the serial port circuitry.On the software it mainly includes uClinux on S3C4510 transplant,image acquisition and compression process,the Ethernet driver and the communication process,RS-485 serial interface procedures,GPRS network communication procedures and alarm I/O interface program.The main part of the system is the community residential home security monitoring,GPRS wireless intelligent home appliances remote control,and at the same time include wireless alarm and remote transmission of meter reading,using the current mature GPRS technology and the ethernet,The residential district user is concentrated the peaceful against monitoring and the management,at the same time System function and structure as well as the block diagram of hardware and software design ideas and main procedures are proposed.
