With the development and progress of science and technology and society,People’s living level also gradually improve. But as the rural urbanization isgradually implemented. The volume of people also gradually increase. Socialsecurity situation becomes more complicated. All kinds of burglary cases haveoften occurred. People’s property often suffer loss.According to the above problem, Designing an alarm system that is veryconvenient and can let host quickly know that someone burglary becomes veryimportant. But now some home security systems exist some problems that theirfunction is relatively simply and the concealment performance is poor. There existparts of systems whose function is strong and the price is very expensive and theysometimes are not convenient to be operated in the current market. The averagefamily users are not easy to accept and these systems can not be widely promoted.This paper is aimed at this problem and designed a security system that iseasily used and has high cost performance and can let ordinary home users accept.The system uses a high-performance32-bit and compatible ARMv4kernel DSPmicroprocessor and uITRON platform.The system gather the PIR sensor signal andprocessing signal correspondingly and then the system start the camera and takepictures of the monitoring area. According to the user’s will, the system can be setif the information of pictures is sent to the users. At the same time imageinformation can be stored in SD card in order to provides the reliable evidence forthe police detecting a criminal case. If the system open the GPRS module, it cansend picture messages to the users in the form of MMS and can give an alarm bydial the customer telephone that is set in advance. Therefore the real-timeperformance is improved. The users can also control the system by way that mobilephones send text messages. So the system becomes really intelligent.The article firstly expounds the research status, background, significance anddevelopment situation at home and abroad of the subject, then introduces therelated theory of GPRS and infrared detection technology and introduces theworking principle of the system. After overall design framework and the workingprinciple of the whole system are expounded, and introduces the hardware circuitdesign and software design of the system in detail finally. The design of hardware circuit mainly include master control module, wireless communication module,power supply module, memory module, PIR sensor module, man-machine interfacecircuit, etc. Software mainly include the introduction of the hardware platform ofreal-time operating system and process design of the overall software system,related operation process of GPRS module and PIR infrared induction.Finally, The paper test the part of function of the system. The function mainlyincludes PIR sensor module related test,GPRS module test, the picture effect test,system power consumption test. The resulting data shows that a lot of functions ofthe system get the ideal effect and can truly meet user demand for home securitysystem.
