Traditional Architectural Image Extension And Application Of Modern Commercial Buildings

In current economic development and social transformation process, in order to adapt to new consumption patterns and new social needs, a large number of the original building to remove, replace damaged and annihilation. As the the external symbols and internal entities of original culture, traditional architecture and construction community in the disappearance means the disappearance of cultural continuity, resulting in the disruption of cultural heritage. In the social development process, the purely traditional form is bound to give way to new social forms, such as consumer culture, way of life. However, the development does not mean forgotten, abandoned the traditional form of the original blood culture means the loss of cultural diversity, which always lost a source of innovation and motivation. In this general trend and the environment, how the traditions and development, combined with past and present, not only in the architectural design of cultural continuity, but also be able to give it a new era of demand, in order to achieve a culture of innovation and reproduction, it became Every architect must think about the proposition in depth.This paper researched on the traditional Jiangnan Water Village in Shaoxing. Through the in-depth research and analysis of the characteristics of local geography and traditional way of life of residents, to explore design ways to adapt to the local cultural traditions and residents. In this paper, five elements have been studied, which are the traditional elements of the overall space, living space architectural elements, commercial space architectural element, transportation space architectural elements and public space architectural elements. The traditional architectural elements system have been extracted and summarized. And through architectural design of the specific case - Xianheng Xintiandi project, a detailed analysis of modern architecture and traditional residential community integration, those encountered difficulties and problems have been discussd. So that the commercial building will not only provide a certain amount of business functions, but also in the new format will help the prosperity and development in the extension of the traditional context. And this design form a new impression, highlighted the local cultural values, so that the design has become a new landmark for the local culture.
