In the existing power monitoring system, cable networks are based on measurement data send and receive. For the scattered and wide ranged power system monitoring stations, through the cable network to transmit data often achieve very little.In order to solve the cable data transmission in the power monitoring system of disadvantages, this paper presents the adoption of GPRS wireless network data transfer program, on-site monitoring equipment can be collected the data and alarm information through the GPRS network to monitor the timely delivery to the power department, implementation of real-time monitoring data.According to the characteristics of data acquisition system, this article from the system start with the design requirements, analysis of the power monitoring system, composition, and made to AT91RM9200 microprocessor as the core solution. Detailed information on system hardware and the specific circuit implementation, and design of circuit simulation demonstrates the feasibility of hardware design.This study shows that the GPRS transmission system by the microprocessor as the core of data transmission for power monitoring system can provide a good solution means.
