The General design of a Special off-road vehicle have taken little different from common truck.As far as the Special off-road vehicle structure itself is concerned,some characteristics,such as loadability,functionality,structural complexity,fuel economy and protect environment,brake stability,adaptability of standards and regulations etc,seem to be more complicated,as demand general designers should take some problems into account carefully and completely.The main work about the General design of the Special off-road vehicle is :First: General parameter's definition is main work in general design phase.Complete vehicle main parameter's preliminary definition including general dimension,main mass parameter,main performance etc,also including main product structure layout parameter and main assemblies's definition.Second: Complete vehicle performance calculation and analysis is important numerical calculation task which is ready for optimizing and defining product main parameters during product concept design and layout design phase,so as to control complete vehicle performance parameter to adapt to work status actually.All the work aims at desirable objects including chassiss mass more light,fuel consumption more economical,energy source more economical,performance stability,safety etc.Third: Layout design is precondition of complete vehicle general layout review,which can go on complete vehicle layout design elaborately on basis of defined main paratmeters,set up 3D data model of complete vehicle layout,use computer to calculate or simulate vehicle performance and certain parameters.It will help validate and modify general parameters so as to deeply research and analyse relative data.At least we can define complete vehicle layout structure,distribute all speciality group technical design task to be used as input condition for making complete vehicle technical design review.During the work,Autocad is used in order to improve the General design level.Also,Catia,Hypermesh,Ansys are used to design and optimize the vehicle.Finally,through the work of design and analysis,this kind of Special off-road vehicle can meet the desigans of demand.
