Key Technology On Intelligent Ship General Layout Design

With the increasingly fierce competition in the shipbuilding industry, how to improve the efficiency and quality of ship design has been a major issue that the shipbuilding industry have to face. While the accumulation of large amounts of data, skills and experience during complex ship design work, there is a great need of a suitable approach to manage and reuse these knowledge effective. In this context, knowledge based engineering(KBE)of intelligent ship design came into being, which determines the ship company's future competitiveness and innovation.The knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation and knowledge reasoning as the key technologies of the intelligent ship general layout was study in this research project in depth, specific work as follows:1.On the basis of collecting and analyzing the domestic and international intelligent ship layout design literature, and related scholars latest research results carefully, knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation and knowledge reasoning was proposed as a general idea for the intelligent ship layout design.2.The specific process of intelligent cabin layout and mooring arrangement was proposed based the features of KBE and design object. Similarities and differences between cabin layout and mooring arrangement's knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation and knowledge reasoning was discussed in detail in this paper.3. The intelligent cabin layout system and mooring arrangement system was created based the secondary development of CATIA.The effective of these system was proved with the master room layout and the mooring arrangement of a 3100TEU Container ship meanwhile.Overall, the intelligent ship general layout design was the main research direction in this paper, and intelligent cabin layout and mooring arrangement was study in depth to elaborate the key technologies. It is valuable for developing the intelligent ship general layout design system.
