There are numerous advantages such as reducing the ammunition's expenses, easing the gun's weight and raising the gun's firing rate in the gun with the complete combustible case, so all countries are stepping up to develop them, however, its intensity and rigidity are both low, therefore it is brittle. When the complete combustible case is applied to the automatic gun, some technical problems appear, for example, one of the difficult problems is how to ram the bullet steadily and reliably.The process of the ramming bullets is studied in this article. In view of the qualities of the complete combustible case, two machines that transport the bullets have been designed. According to the interior ballistic trajectory, the stress on the breech has been calculated. In addition, the optimal control mathematical models of ramming bullets has been established successfully, including the mathematical models of physical restriction, objective function and control variables. Considering the flow of dynamic optimization, some block diagrams of calculation programs have been designed, and through the MATLAB software, the programs are compiled, then the best locus of the bullet from the beginning to the end of the location is got. The problem is solved successfully by optimal control theory.The optimal solution contributes to the simplified 3D models, according to Hertz contact theory and importing the punish coefficient, the dynamic characteristics of the complete combustible case are simulated, then the optimal curve is obviously superior to the traditional ones.The method of optimal control theory, the method to deal with contact problems, and the designs and will provide a reference for the application of the complete combustible case to the high-speed automatic guns.
