Automotive powertrain is the main source of vibration excitation of the vehicle, which has great influence on the ride comfort. The optimal capability of designing a mount system of automobile powertrain can reduce vibration of the vehicle and noise, improve the vehicle ride comfort.Based on the theory of vibration isolation, the theory of optimize design and CAD/CAE system integration technology, using 3D software UG, finite element analysis software ANSYS, the mechanical system dynamics analysis software ADAMS and software MATLAB to built mount system modeling, simulation and optimization design. First,the paper analysed the characteristics of mount components and the principle of vibration isolation ,built the powertrain coordinate and the relevant coordinate , preliminary designed the powertrain mount system; Second, by using ANSYS software to analysis the modal of mount brackets, the results showed that the mount brackets comply with the design requirements; Third, the application of Lagrange method to establish the mathematical model of the powertrain mount system ,and then using MATLABGUIDE module developed special program to calculate the natural frequencies of mount system .This program can be conveniently, accurately and quickly computing natural frequencies and natural vibration of the powertrain mount system; At last, set the natural frequencies of mount system and modal decoupling as target using multi-objective optimization method to optimize the powertrain mount system.And then established the powertrain multibody dynamics model in ADAMS software, and analyzesd the modal of the mount system, the results showed that the optimization of the powertrain mount system to satisfy the design requirements of products, the method of the optimization design is feasible.The results and methods of the study are helpful for the design of the powertrain mount system. At the same time, there also is certain reference value in similar design of vibration isolation system in the engineering.
