Automotive powertrain is a main source of automotive vibration, which takes an important influence on automotive comfort. Proper design of automotive powertrain would greatly reduce the vibration of automotive powertrain and body. This article takes the hydraulic powertrain mount system as the research objective, systematically studies the vibration isolation performance of the hydraulic mount system. The following subjects are studied:1. Based on a lot of references, the developing history of hydraulic mounts is reviewed. Then they are classified by their structures. The working principle, characteristics, and weakness of each type are stated in detail. The developing history of hydraulic mount system is also reviewed briefly, and the developing trend is also suggested.2. By systematically analyzing the design theories of automotive powertrain mount systems, this article suggests a full theory for the design of vibration isolation in automotive powertrain mount system. The "Shock Center" theory is stated in details. Meanwhile, this article illustrates the characteristic of v type mount system and compares the effects of parallel displacement and v displacement.3. With the study of the sample of hydraulic mount, its structure and working principle are analyzed in details, and the definition of dynamic characteristics is also given.4. The mechanical model of the hydraulic mounts and rubber mount is set up, and the 6-Degree-of-Freedom model of engine powertrain is set up, too. The six original models of powertrain system are calculated by dynamically analyzing software-Linear Model in ADAMS. The characteristic of engine exciting is analyzed. The hydraulic mount system' simulating calculation on idle working condition and high speed working condition is carried out by ADAMS. The response curve of rear left hydraulic mount, rear right hydraulic mount, and the fore rubber mount in each conditions are draught. The curve of hydraulic mount system's transmissibility is also calculated in the end and the performance of vibration isolation is analyzed.5. The basic parameters of PMS of the powertrain mount system are measured by the experiments, simply introduce the certainty of mass center and mass inertia quadrature, and the experimental results are obtained finally.6. The characteristic of vibration isolation in hydraulic powertrain mount system in a car is tested by experiments. Through processing and analyzing the vibration data acquired from the experiments, this article analyzes the characteristic of vibration isolation in hydraulic mount system, and provides the valuable standards for the later research.
