Zhejiang Village Of Structural Analysis

This paper study the structural property of the villages in Zhejiang Province, the so named "structural property" is not a geometrical structure generally existed in all the villages, but "structure" the villages phenomenally from their otherness. Hence, the "structural property" hereby means an activity manner facing the objects.As architects, we should take responsibilities for curing the collapsing Chinese cities. The prescription is actually around us that has not been noticed. The traditional Chinese villages has already explained to us about the integrality, abundance and difference of knitted cities, and we need to master the capacity of communication between nature and culture, sensibility and ration. The structural resolution of the villages can enable us to recognize the property of the object more clearly so as to provide a reasonable way to solve the problems in the current Chinese cities.
