Aero electronic system includes all electronic sub-system equipped in modern battleplane, it undertake the task of taking off, navigation, fly control, goal identifying, firepower calculating,weapon shooting, electronic fight, communications and so on, thus became the heart of battleplane. As modern war develop along with the way of communication war, network war, the task which need aero electronic system to deal with is become more and more complex. It is urgency that system shoud enhance the ability in signal computing, communication computing and signal amalgamation.To increase microprocessor speed is one of the solutions to improve the aero electronic system performance. High-speed cache and more advanced processor architecture continuously improve the microprocessor performance, but the research indicates that the increased speed of processor bus frequency is slower than the performance growth rate of the processor core, and the gap between the two is widening, which make processor bus the bottle-neck of the system. As the bus technology develop along with the way of exchange switch replacing share bus, point to point replacing big pipe, difference signal replacing odd signal, serial I/O replacing synchronous parallel I/O, many new bus technology appear these years and RapidIO is one of the most outstanding one. RapidIO suits Aero electronic system fine because it is aim at embedded domain and take efficiency, route choice, error management, flow control, reliability and expansibility into account.The mechanism of System Enum, Message, Input/Output Logical in RapidIO is in-depth researched in this thesis. Aim at the characteristic of aero electronic system application, design and implement an interproccess communication system base on message mechanism after the research of RapidIO. The academic analyse result and practical test demonstrate that the interproccess communication system base on RapidIO is superior to interproccess communication system base on traditional bus.
