With the increasing of cars, road accident is increasingly becoming a serious social problem and has been widespread concerned by the society. Fatigue driving is one of the main reasons of traffic accidents. The research of driver fatigue is of great significance for the prevention and reduction of traffic accidents.In this paper, the emergence of fatigue and methods of evaluation has been to conducted in-depth research. Based on foundation of experimental evaluation system of fatigue driving, different patterns of rest's impact on driving fatigue are studied experimentally. The main research results in the following areas:1) The theory analysis of driving fatigue and the research work of valuation method has been completed. Driving fatigue's impact on traffic safety has been analyzed. The driving fatigue evaluation system covers subjective evaluation method, flicker fusion frequency method, the reaction time test, pay attention to the distribution of test and heart rate analysis has been set up.2) In the laboratory Simulated environment, using the method above to complete the experimental study of three patterns of rest's impact on driving fatigue, discuss the impact of the change of pattern in the rest and find the conclusions that pattern one and pattern two compared with pattern three is more significantly to alleviate driving fatigue. At the same time, the sensitivity and effectiveness of the targets is validated, provide experimental methods and theoretical reference for further experiments.
