The traffic accident caused by fatigue driving is the most important problem that the whole world highway transportation faces at present. However, unlike drunk driving, fatigue driving is difficult to detect by means of instruments. It has some hidden characteristics that make it difficult to detect and control fatigue driving. In the actual situation, the commonly used management methods and models lag behind and rough,can not be found in a timely manner,even if reminded. At present,although there are some policies and regulations related to the problem of truck fatigue driving in our country, the monitoring and warning equipment is backward.Detection of existing equipment, often because of too heavy, and even affect the normal running of the driver and the driver suffered criticism,but serious fatigue driving and look forward to a portable and inexpensive equipment to enter the market.Our country truck driver's fatigue related policies have been formulated, but there is no feasible equipment to test and remind. How to in the daily life of watches,bracelets and other support for development,which does not affect the normal driving of a driver,can be as accurate as possible to detect driver fatigue,easy to use,the error is small, the purpose of this paper is to.In this paper, through the comparison of existing detection techniques, we decided to achieve fatigue monitoring through heart rate variability (HRV). First, the heart rate waveform of the driver is obtained by using PPG, and then the quantitative fatigue values are obtained by combining time domain analysis and frequency domain analysis. And give proper warning when fatigue exceeds a certain threshold.
